ipog operates The Depth Engine and is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Data we collect and why

  • Account data (email address, name if you sign in with Google, login credentials): to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
  • Learning content (threads, topics, your messages, positions, glossary terms, uploaded notes and PDFs, journal entries, library items): to provide the tutor, reviews and schedules. Basis: contract.
  • Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used, error logs): to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Support messages: to respond to you. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Subscription status: whether you have an active Pro plan, so we can unlock features. Payment card details are collected by Paddle and never stored by us. Basis: contract.

Who we share data with

  • Service providers for hosting, database, authentication and AI processing. Relevant parts of your messages and uploaded material are sent to AI model providers to generate replies.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as legal and accounting advisers, where needed.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where the law requires us to keep certain records (for example, billing records held by Paddle).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your data protection authority. We respond within one month. Contact ipog at gopi@ipog.pro.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, per-user access controls on stored data, and limited staff access.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
